- As early as March, almond blossoms are the first to herald spring in Provence. The fields of almond trees are then transformed into a sea of white and delicate flowers under the rays of the Mediterranean sun.
- The almond, both tender and delicate, is covered with a soft green velvet and has precious cosmetic properties. The kernel of the almond softens and smoothes the skin. Almond oil, one of the most skin-friendly oils, is rich in vitamins A and E. It nourishes and moisturizes the skin in depth. Often used for the care of infants, this oil can be applied without problem to particularly sensitive skin. It soothes the skin and reduces skin irritations, helping sensitive skin to regain its natural balance and protection.
- The cultivation of almonds, a fascinating but also technically demanding crop, had been neglected since the last century and was in danger of disappearing completely.
