- Le dragon de Komodo est le plus grand saurien du monde. C'est un chasseur à l'affût qui attend rongeurs, oiseaux et autres reptiles dans les hautes herbes. Il essaie de les mordre avec ses petites dents acérées. Lorsqu'il y parvient, les animaux ne meurent pas de la morsure mais à cause du venin sécrété par des glandes situées dans sa gueule.
