Description

  • Design and case
  • The 49 mm case is made from aerospace-grade titanium, giving it an excellent compromise between lightness, strength and corrosion resistance.
  • The front is protected by a flat sapphire crystal and a protected contour to minimize the risk of chips or hard scratches.
  • The case is certified water-resistant to 100 meters, and meets MIL-STD-810H standards, making it suitable for use in extreme conditions (outdoor sports, diving, etc.).
  • Display
  • The screen is a Retina OLED LTPO always-on (Always-On), with a resolution of 410 × 502 pixels.
  • Its maximum brightness reaches 3,000 nits, ensuring outstanding visibility even in bright sunlight.
  • In minimum mode, it can drop to around 1 nit, helping to preserve night vision and reduce power consumption in very dark environments.
  • Performance, chip and storage
  • It's equipped with the high-performance, optimized 64-bit dual-core S9 SiP chip.
  • Storage is 64GB, so you can store music, health app data, podcasts, etc., without worry.
  • The on-board operating system is watchOS 10, with all the latest features.
  • Connectivity & location
  • It features GPS + Cellular, allowing autonomous mobile connectivity (calls, data...) when the iPhone is out of range.
  • It also integrates several geolocation protocols: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS.
  • CLS Computer
  • There's also Ultra Wideband (UWB), useful for precise localization, and Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5.3.
  • Autonomy
  • In normal use, the watch offers battery life of up to around 36 hours.
  • In power-saving mode, this can rise to 72 hours depending on usage.
  • Sport & health functions
  • It includes the classic tracking functions: heart rate, blood oxygenation (SpO?), electrocardiogram (ECG), sleep tracking (with stages), etc.
  • Sensors such as barometric altimeter, gyroscope, accelerometer, temperature sensor, ambient light sensor are added.
  • It also features safety functions: fall or accident detection, emergency siren, international SOS location.
  • Practicality & usability
  • A customizable Action button provides quick access to certain functions (compass, waypoint, training start, etc.).
  • There's also a double tap: a two-finger gesture for interacting without touching the screen, which is handy in certain situations.
  • The case is quite imposing (49 mm) and the thickness significant: around 14.4 mm.
  • As for weight, it's around 61.4 g for the case + a standard strap configuration.
