What is on-personal data and why do we process it?
Non-personal data is information that cannot be traced back to your identity. As a matter of principle, we do not combine this data with your personal data These data are thus anonymous to us.

You have the option at any time to opt out of the processing of non-personal data. The following sections also include links for disabling some of the technologies we use.
What technologies do we use and why are they used at DeinDeal?
We use the following technologies:
Cookies and similar technologies
Recording of user behavior: a cookie is stored on your computer to record your user behavior. Cookies are small files. Your browser stores them on your device in a dedicated directory. Cookies can be used to determine, among other things, whether a website has been visited previously via your web browser. If you allow cookies, your login data for an online service can also be stored in cookies so that you don't need to enter your login details every time you access the website.
Cookie identifier: Many cookies contain a “cookie ID”. A cookie ID is a unique identifier for the cookie. It is a string of characters that websites and servers are able to associate with the specific web browser on which the cookie is stored. This allows websites and servers visited by you to distinguish the browser from other web browsers that store different cookies. A specific web browser can be recognized via this unique cookie ID.
Online advertising based on user behavior: Ads are generally provided by third-party vendors. To display products and services that may be of interest to you, these third parties use information regarding your web browser usage , where possible and permitted by your device settings. Specific contact data such as your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number will not be passed on under any circumstances. Therefore, cookies cannot identify you as an individual.
Objecting to the setting of cookies: Although the use of cookies is justified by the legitimate interest to offer advertising adapted to your interests and to elaborate statistics, you can prevent the setting of cookies at any time by changing your browser settings and thus reject them permanently.
Deleting cookies: In addition, you can delete cookies that have already been set via your web browser or other software at any time.
Behavioral advertising in apps: no cookies are used in applications. Instead of cookies, an advertising identifier is provided by the manufacturers of your end device's operating system ("Identifier for Advertising" (IDFA) for iOS devices or "Google Advertising Id" for Android devices). This identifier is not linked to the application, but to the device. With this identifier, Admeira can provide advertising content based on the use of your application (known as "behavioral advertising"). Again, the goal is to show users a more interesting and relevant ad than the one that would be visible without the analysis of the corresponding usage data.
Objecting to behavioral advertising in apps: You can permanently opt out of behavioral advertising in apps via the settings on your device:
● iOS (Apple) devices: Open the settings and select "Privacy". Under "Advertising" you can now enable the "No ad tracking" function.
● Android devices (Google) Open the "Google Settings" app then select "Advertisements". You can then select the "Disable interest-based advertising" option.

Our Internet pages also use “Google Analytics”, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The use includes the “Universal Analytics” operating mode. This allows, when the user is logged into a Google service, to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a user ID in the form of a pseudonym and thus analyze the user's activities across devices. Google Analytics uses cookies. The non-personal information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, IP addresses are anonymized beforehand using IP anonymization. The anonymized IP address provided by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. At our request, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide us with services related to the use of the website and the Internet. You can prevent the storage of cookies with the corresponding settings in your browser.

Log files
When using websites or mobile applications, the web servers record non-personal usage data in what are known as log files. Log files provide information about your IP address, the operating system you are using, the web pages you visit, browser type and version, time, and the requested file. This information is required for technical purposes in order to correctly provide the website content you have requested and is generated whenever a person uses the Internet. This anonymous data is saved separately from any personal data you provide and therefore cannot be traced back to your identity.
We evaluate this non-personal data for statistical purposes in order to optimize our website and the technology used to operate it, to identify trends, as well as to improve offers and products and to tailor it to your needs in the best way possible.
Our website includes links to other websites. Please note that DeinDeal does not assume any responsibility for data protection and content published on these websites.
Third-party website elements, e.g. plugins
Elements from third-party providers (e.g social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube) may be used on our websites and in our mobile applications. If you click on an element from a third-party provider (e.g. the “Like” plugin from Facebook), a connection to the servers of that third-party provider may be established automatically. This may result in the transmission of information about your visit to our websites or a mobile application to the third-party provider. In some cases, it may be possible to associate this data with your user account with the third-party provider (e.g. your Facebook or Twitter account). The third-party provider may share personal data (surname, first name and email address) from your user account with DeinDeal, insofar as you have authorised the third-party provider to carry out this function. You will find information relating to the collection and the use of the data by third suppliers in the indications of the corresponding third suppliers concerning the data protection.
How to disable cookies?
Cookie settings
By using our web pages and applications, you agree to the processing of your personal data in the manner described and for the purposes mentioned above. However, you can control and / or delete cookies at any time using the aforementioned opt-out links.
Most web browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. It is up to you, however, to configure your browser so that it rejects cookies as a rule by selecting the ‘do not accept cookies’ setting in your browser or so that it prompts you to accept cookies whenever you visit a website.
You also have the option to delete cookies stored on your computer or mobile device by using the function provided for this purpose in your browser. Remember that you will have to disable or delete the cookies on all of your devices.
Please note that deleting cookies in the browser will also cause an opt-out cookie, such as the one from Admeira, to be deleted. This means that if you want to keep an opt-out cookie enabled and have deleted all cookies, you must enable the opt-out cookie again when you revisit the website. Otherwise, you will be identified as a new user and you will have to re-enter your data.
You can permanently opt out of behavioral advertising in apps via the settings on your device:
