- In the heart of flower country, overlooking the French Riviera, Grasse is recognized as the world capital of perfumery. It is renowned for the quality of its essences and creations. PANIER DES SENS celebrates the perfumery of Grasse and its traditional skills, with a new collection based on perfume Absolue.
- A true high-end perfumery, an Absolue is the most precious oil of the vegetable raw material. Absolues are fragrant natural highly concentrated plant extracts, produced by the extractive action of an organic solvent from a plant. Extraction begins with the maceration (Latin macerare "to soak") of the plant to obtain what is known as a concentrate. This solid concentrate is then melted, dissolved in alcohol, the insoluble waxes are removed while the pigments and essences are retained. The final step aims to separate the alcohol from the perfumed substance: the result is an absolute, a dense, precious and highly concentrated liquid.
- In Marseille, world-renowned for its quality soap, the soaps are produced according to time-honored production methods and with a content of at least 72% vegetable oils, without dyes and synthetic surfactants.
