- GERANIUM ROSAT
- Introduced in Europe in the 17th century, geranium was first used for medicinal purposes. It was soon used in perfumery for the olfactory properties of its leaves and stems. It has a particularly fine pinkish fragrance, both suave and powerful. It is distinguished from rose by its light green and lemony notes, which give it strength and character.

- A true jewel of haute parfumerie, the absolute is the most precious essence of the plant raw material. Like an elixir, an absolute is obtained by the extractive action of an organic solvent on a plant. Extraction begins with maceration of the plant to obtain what is known as a concrete. This solid concrete is then melted in alcohol to remove insoluble waxes, while retaining all pigments and essences. A final operation separates the alcohol from the perfumed substance: the result is the absolute, a dense, precious, highly concentrated liquid.
