- L'Ombre dans l'Eau is a women's Eau de Toilette from Diptyque, originally launched in 1983 and created by perfumer Serge Kalouguine, built on the unusual harmony of blackcurrant leaf and Bulgarian rose. The green, tart facets of blackcurrant bud and leaf mingle with the intense floral heart of rose, producing a distinctive green-floral chypre character that helped define the house's signature style. It remains one of Diptyque's most recognized fine fragrance creations.
