Description
- The eldest member of the family, the BIRKENSTOCK Madrid model is a true classic. Launched some 50 years ago as "gym sandals", these sleek one-strap sandals have gradually established themselves as a true fashion companion. The Upper is made of Birko-Flor®, a hypoallergenic, hard-wearing synthetic material, in a nubuck style: the result is a texture and color very similar to real leather.

- With Birko-Flor® nubuck, we've managed to imitate real nubuck leather almost to perfection.
- Insole: Footbed
- The hypoallergenic, flexible leather footbed gently hugs the foot and adapts to its contours. The open-pore surface is particularly thermoactive, keeping feet at a pleasant temperature even during intense physical activity.
- Footbed material: Cork
- Cork is a renewable raw material extracted from the bark of the cork oak tree. This natural product is a thermal insulator with excellent cushioning properties.
- Outer sole: EVA
- EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality plastic that is particularly light and elastic, with excellent cushioning properties. Small irregularities in the ground are therefore compensated for, and every step is cushioned as you walk.
