Description
- This Tommy Hilfiger watch features a 32mm round stainless steel case, a silver dial, and a stainless steel bracelet. Water-resistant to 30 meters.
- Mineral glass, made of real glass, is highly durable. It is the most commonly used glass in watchmaking, particularly on entry-level watch models. Some brands offer more or less advanced hardened versions used on high-end timepieces, such as Seiko, which has developed its own type of mineral glass called “Hardlex.”
- Display type: Analog
- Dial markings: Index
- Movement: Quartz Battery
- A quartz watch is a timepiece that operates based on a vibrating movement driven by an electrical current. This type of watch therefore requires the use of a quartz crystal. When subjected to an electrical voltage (battery), the oscillation of the quartz crystal plate transmits its vibration frequency to the watch's circuit, which then displays the time. The quartz mechanism is extremely precise and requires virtually no maintenance other than battery replacement (approximately every 2 years).
- Function: Three hands
- The time is indicated by three hands centered on the dial: the hour hand (small hand), the minute hand (large hand), and the second hand (second hand).
- The watch clasp attachment system is simple: a spring runs through the cylindrical tube of the clasp, extending to both ends. It applies pressure to the cutout in the case or to the clasp used to secure the strap. This system allows the two parts of a watch strap to be attached to the case using metal bars known as “pumps.” There are several types: single or double groove at the ends, telescopic, single or double shoulder, etc.
