Philips Lumea treats the hair roots with gentle pulses of light, putting the hair follicles into a dormant state. As a result, the amount of hair growth gradually decreases. With repeated treatments, your skin remains wonderfully hair-free and noticeably smooth. The treatment for less hair growth is safe and gentle, even on sensitive areas. Philips Lumea is clinically tested and developed with dermatologists for easy and effective treatment from the comfort of your own home.

Proven effectiveness

Independent studies show up to 92% less hair after 3 treatments Perform the first four treatments every two weeks and the next eight treatments every four weeks. It works on naturally dark blonde, brown and black hair and skin tones from light white to dark brown. IPL requires a contrast between the pigment in the hair color and the pigment in the skin tone. Therefore, Lumea (as with other IPL-based treatments) cannot be used to treat white, gray, light blonde or red hair or very dark skin.

SenseIQ technology

Sensing.
