1. Wash the cover regularly
The cover of your mattress topper plays a key role in protecting its surface and cleanliness. We recommend washing the cover at least once a month to eliminate stains and odors. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for washing and drying the cover.
2. Use a mattress protector
For extra protection, consider using a mattress protector under the cover. A waterproof mattress protector helps prevent liquid spills, stains and allergens from entering the mattress topper itself. It's easier to wash a mattress protector than to clean the main mattress topper cover.
3. Vacuum regularly
With or without a removable cover, dust, dust mites and particles can accumulate on the surface of the mattress topper. Use a vacuum cleaner with an appropriate nozzle to vacuum the surface of the mattress topper every month. This will help maintain cleanliness.
4. Deal with stains quickly
In the event of accidental stains on the cover, act quickly to prevent them from becoming embedded. Use a clean, damp cloth to dab the stain, avoiding rubbing too vigorously, which could cause the stain to penetrate deeper. Use a mild stain remover appropriate to the type of stain you're dealing with.
5. Air the mattress topper
From time to time, remove the cover from the mattress topper and leave it in the open air for a few hours to remove odors and moisture. This will help keep the mattress topper fresh.
6. Turn the mattress topper
If your mattress topper is reversible, consider turning it every few months. This will ensure more even wear and extend its life.
