- The word casserole comes from the Latin term for ladle - as such the handy pot with handle was used for example for the goulash can. Small dishes, milk and soups can be pleasantly quickly warmed up in it. It is also practical for creams and puddings. While one hand holds the handle - the hollow handle does not heat up during cooking - the other guides the whisk in the pot. Sauces are reduced to a simmer in a saucepan, and the flared pouring rim ensures that they are dosed and drip-free onto the plates. If something burns, residues can be easily removed from the bottom - thanks to the high-quality material made of stainless steel or Silargan. Of course, WMF casseroles can be put in the dishwasher and are suitable for all stoves, including induction. The pots are available bulbous or with straight pot wall, with and without lid and with diameters from 10 to 24 centimeters.
