- Similar to the all-purpose knife, but with a longer blade, the name says it all with the lard knife: with the long, pointed blade, you can cut deeply into any meat without tearing open the tender fibers. The resulting pockets in the meat can now be easily larded with bacon or garlic. Like most types of knives, however, this model can be used in a variety of ways. Vegetables, herbs and fruit can also be cut and sliced very easily. Thanks to its tapered blade, the larding knife is also suitable for arranging cold plates: many ingredients can namely be easily picked up from the cutting board or from the jar with the knife tip and draped on the plate.
