Description

  • Paris, early 60s. The Saint Germain district was alive with all-night jazz clubs and artistic gatherings. People talked about the world, danced and laughed in a warm atmosphere that was as lively as it was elegant... Orphéon was one of those lively bars where the three founders of Diptyque liked to meet as neighbors. A tribute to this era of creative friendship, Orphéon is now an olfactory portrait. It's a freeze-frame of a time when wisps of tobacco crossed the powdery trail of blush, lingering on patinated woods. At the heart of the composition, we find the atmosphere of this unforgettable place through the warmth of tonka bean, the depth of cedar and the vivacity of juniper berries.
  • Scent notes: cedar wood, juniper, tonka bean, Wood
  • A classic olfactory intensity.
