Maintenance & Care

Wash the cover regularly

Your mattress cover plays a vital role in keeping your mattress clean and fresh. Wash it at least every two months, or more often if necessary. Use warm water and a mild detergent to remove stains and odours. Follow the manufacturer's washing instructions to avoid damaging the cover.

Use a mattress protector

Even without a removable cover, protect the surface of your mattress with a mattress protector. Choose a waterproof model to prevent spills, stains and dirt. Make sure the mattress protector fits snugly to your mattress for optimum protection.

Vacuum regularly

To keep your mattress clean, vacuum regularly, even without a removable cover. Use a vacuum cleaner with a padded surface attachment to remove dust particles, allergens and dust mites. Do this at least once a month for best results.

Clean stains immediately

If you accidentally spill something, act quickly to prevent the stain from hardening. Use a clean, damp cloth to gently dab the stain. Avoid vigorous rubbing as this may cause the stain to penetrate deeper. If necessary, use a stain remover suitable for the type of stain.

Air regularly

To prevent the build-up of odours and moisture, air your mattress regularly. Remove the sheets and air the mattress for a few hours. This will help reduce moisture and eliminate unwanted odours.

Turn the mattress

If your mattress is reversible, rotate it every few months to even out the wear and tear. This will help maintain its shape and firmness.
