Housing recommendation

Recommended number of chickens:

For bantam chickens up to 2 kg, we recommend keeping up to 3 animals. For chickens over 2 kg, a maximum of 2 animals should be kept.

Species-appropriate housing:

This hutch is ideal for bantams, but we do not recommend keeping them indoors only. Make sure your animals have sufficient exercise and species-appropriate activities.

The BLV recommends a floor area of at least 2 m² to accommodate all necessary facilities such as drinkers and feed troughs. The barn must be extended to a covered area of 2 m² in accordance with BLV regulations.
