- Additional Information: For waterbed mattresses in MONO system (size 140 x 200 cm and larger) we recommend using set of two heaters per mattress. For DUAL system you must use one heater per mattress. This should improve longevity of heaters. The heating element should be laid completely flat and the underlying surface must be smooth. Place the heater centrally under the mattress, so that it does not come into contact with the safety liner, to avoid overheating.
