Please note that due to the fact that the rug is handwoven, each piece may slightly differ in terms of colour, pattern and size (+/- 5-7 cm). This kind of variation is not considered a defect. The rug's pattern might feature a decorative crackle finish, which is caused by a material structure. It may vary in intensity, but is deliberate and shouldn't be considered a defect. Please note that even though the product was handmade, the pattern is not. It was created with the use of the printing technique. The product requires some time after unpacking to get to its desired state. We recommend unfolding it as soon as possible, giving it up to 72 hours to straighten, as well as putting a heavy weight on the ends for a better effect. Please keep in mind that viscose fabric has a shiny, soft surface that changes shade depending on the direction of the fibres and the angle of light.
- Maintenance tips:
- 1.Vacuum once a week on medium suction power using an upholstery attachment, in the direction of the pile
- 2.Periodically, turn your rug 180 ° to ensure even wear and prevent fading caused by sun exposure
- 3.Remove any stains immediately using a damp, non-staining cloth. Clean from the edge to the middle of the rug, do not rub
- 4.For tough stains scrape off the dirt from the surface and clean with a non-staining, damp cotton cloth. If necessary, use a carpet cleaning liquid. Do not overwet the rug and wipe dry after cleaning. Use only rug recommended cleaners. Contact an expert for tough stain removal
- 5.For comfortable use we recommend airing out the unpacked rug for at least a few hours (ideally for one to two days). This allows the natural scent of the material to fade.
