- It took us some time to find our nugget, our BOXSPRING bed: you know, the one we also call the Continental bed! It's a bed with everything included, and above all, a mattress INCLUDED in the bed's structure, making the whole thing aesthetically super harmonious.
- No easy feat indeed, 4 years of research, testing... and testing, again and again. And here it is. And it's serious stuff, we've kept you waiting I know ... but it wasn't for nothing!
- The idea is simple: we want to sleep as if in a super hotel. To achieve this, you need a great bed, a fairly solid look and the whole thing has to work perfectly. So the BOXSPRING bed was the answer. A bed with everything included, so to speak. You buy everything, and you don't have to choose the mattress, it's already included! or even the mattress topper, it's also included...
- And a chest: too! but not a chest that touches the floor, that's not great for cleaning, you need to be able to clean it in 10 seconds.... a chest but with 15cm of feet (on top), so that your hoover, robot or your "lover" can get underneath (although we don't advise your "lover" to do this, ok?
- In fact, we've done the whole thing, the whole option, the full package of the continental boxspring bed: watch out, don't fall asleep because there's so much to say...
- - Solid wood structure with upholstery - and 15cm wooden legs (below the chest system), perfect for vacuuming underneath and getting rid of dust.
- - Grade A fabrics in resistance, soft chenille touch, with cool colours. What's more, it's animal friendly (yes, for those who have pets...).
- - Chest structure with 18cm high storage, guided by top-of-the-range gas springs and fully secured with a lock: you can store your duvets, pillows and ski suits (which you're not going to take out every day...) in complete safety.
- - A mattress that holds up well: we're starting with a top mattress with pocket springs and HR 25 foam, not too hard, not too soft, perfect in fact. This gives us a total sleeping height of 61cm (frame, feet and mattress included) for those who want to know the figures.
- - A headboard with a cool design: that's open to debate, but with a modern Chesterfield-style shape, no buttons, and square "chocolate bar" padding, it's a design staple that will go with any interior. As with all top-of-the-range Boxspring beds, a mattress topper is included! It's made from 5cm HR foam, to bring harmony to the whole.

- Care instructions: For the storage box:
- Airing: Open the storage box regularly to prevent the build-up of moisture and unpleasant odours inside. Remember to move your stored items around so they don't create mould.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the inside of the chest.
- Organisation: For easy access, consider using storage boxes or vacuum bags for larger items.
- For the pocket spring mattress:
- Aspiration: Vacuum the mattress regularly to remove dust and dust mites. Use a brush tip to avoid damaging the fabric or a special brush tip for vacuuming textile furniture (sofas, etc.).
- Protection: Use a mattress cover, preferably waterproof, to protect the mattress against stains and wear. Protect your bedding, so that maintenance is carried out on the protective textile and not on the boxspring bed itself.
- For the removable mattress topper:
- Airing: Air the mattress topper regularly by exposing it to fresh air, preferably outside. You can clean the cover with a very gentle wash, 30 degrees max as it has a zip.
- Wash: machine washable, delicate/hand wash programme, 30 degrees max. Do not spin hard. Make sure it is completely dry before putting it back on the bed.
- Renewal: Remember to renew your mattress topper, which will be used the most - every 5 years - to maintain good sleeping comfort.
