Join the Rebel Alliance and take part in aerial battles above the Death Star by building the Star Wars™ X-Wing Starfighter of Luke Skywalker™ from the licensed Ugears Star Wars collection. The X-Wing was the last line of defense against the Empire's planet-destroying superweapon. Its name comes from the S-shape of the wings when in attack position. Outsmart the TIE Fighter's maneuvers and use the Force to fire the shot that will save the Galaxy! This two-in-one model includes a stand inspired by the surface of the Death Star. Inside the base, a motorized pivoting mechanism reproduces the X-Wing's maneuvers as seen in the original Star Wars film. The fighter and the stand connect and detach using a magnet. Multiple moving elements enhance realism and fun: the cockpit canopy opens, the front and rear landing gears can be removed, a R2-D2-shaped button on top of the fuselage opens a bottom hatch, but the main mechanical feature is the S-foils that open and lock in attack position. The model is powered by three AA batteries or via a USB Type-C connection (batteries and USB connector not included). Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighter™ is compatible with the TIE Fighter™ model from the official Star Wars Ugears collection. These models can be connected using the included connectors to create a larger Death Star surface, putting you at the heart of the climactic trench scene from the original Star Wars film.
