Competitive is suited for head-to-head matches in Ultimate Team and Clubs: passes are faster, goalkeeper rebounds are smarter, and control is more direct, while Authentic brings a true soccer feel to modes such as Career, with defenders more true to their positions, realistic corner success rates, realistic battles in the penalty area, and more.

Take part in tournaments and live events in a new way in Ultimate Team™ and discover a revamped Rivals and Champs experience. Tournaments test your skills with up to four rounds in a single-elimination system, while live events offer more variety with themed competitions and content throughout the season. New rewards allow you to earn extra bonuses or speed up your weekly progress. EA SPORTS FC™ 26 also introduces Challengers, a new second-division championship held on weekends and aimed at players in the lower divisions.
