- The whole is always more than the sum of its parts. It is essentially the components of comfortable fit, highly efficient ventilation, proven aerodynamics, reliable safety and maximum comfort that make up a high-quality sports helmet. However, it is our decades of experience in the development of motorcycle helmets, our uncompromisingly high quality of workmanship and our research into the demands of today's and tomorrow's motorcyclists that turn these features into a premium sports helmet: the compact and lightweight SHOEI NXR2, in the tradition of high-quality sports helmets from the XR range.
- Safety
Its outer shell made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), combined with a polystyrene core system made up of several elements with different absorption capacities, offers optimum impact protection. - The CWR-F2 visor, newly developed for the SHOEI NXR2, has a two-dimensional shape and enables distortion-free and very natural vision. Reinforcements on the upper and lower edge of the visor increase torsional rigidity, while a locking mechanism, now located in the center, prevents the visor from opening unintentionally. It can be changed and adjusted quickly and without tools thanks to a further developed mechanism from the previous model.
- The enlarged, anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO visor supplied with the helmet allows an unobstructed view over a large part of the usable field of vision, even in difficult weather conditions, thanks to the attachment points being set far back.
- The chin strap with double-D fastener is easy to adjust and holds the helmet securely in position. In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed thanks to the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) for gentle helmet removal.
- Comfort
5 different outer shell sizes (XXS-S | M | L | XL-XXL | XXXL) make the NXR2 a compact, lightweight sports helmet with a wide size range. Its low weight relieves the neck muscles and thus reduces the fatigue effect, whether in sporty use on the race track or on extended tours. - Ventilation
The 6 ventilation inlets and 4 exhaust air outlets of the SHOEI NXR2 are connected via a branched ventilation system within the helmet shell and noticeably reduce the interior temperature and humidity in the helmet. They always provide the rider with a sufficient supply of fresh air without increasing noise pollution. The result is a pleasant helmet interior climate for a concentrated and fatigue-free ride, both for sporty riding on the racetrack and for motorcycle trips to warm countries. - Accessories
Visors are available for the SHOEI NXR2 in a variety of different tints and mirror finishes, which can be used in compliance with ECE homologation guidelines. The helmet is fitted with a clear CWR-F2 visor as standard. All visors of this type can be fitted with anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lenses, one of which is included with the helmet. - The SHOEI range of accessories includes cheek pads and head pads in various sizes and thicknesses to replace the original pads or to customize the helmet. There is also a chin strap pad, a breath guard and a chin curtain.
