- The high-performance outer shell of the SHOEI GT-Air3, made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), combines high flexibility with low weight thanks to its composition of fiberglass and organic fibers.In combination with a polystyrene core system composed of multiple elements with varying absorption capacities, this helmet shell offers the highest possible level of protection.\
The PINLOCK®EVO visor included with the helmet extremely effectively reduces the tendency of the visor to fog up, even under adverse weather conditions.\
The CNS-1C visor, with its high optical quality and wide field of view, allows for distortion-free perception of traffic conditions, even at the edges of the field of view. Like all SHOEI full-face helmet visors, it blocks more than 99% of incoming UV radiation from entering the helmet interior.\
The pleasantly narrow chin strap with a micro-ratchet buckle is easy to use and keeps the helmet securely in place.\
In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed using the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) to allow for gentle helmet removal.\
The SHOEI GT-Air3 meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 safety standard for full-face helmets. \ - COMFORT \
- The three different outer shell sizes of the SHOEI GT-Air3 (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) allow for a wide range of sizes with an optimal ratio of helmet size to body size. The helmet's ergonomically effective center-of-gravity alignment reduces strain on the neck muscles and prevents fatigue, whether on long tours or fast highway stretches.\
Distinctly contoured head pads promote air circulation inside the helmet and, like the three-dimensionally pre-shaped cheek pads and the chin strap pad, are fully removable and washable. Head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for a custom fit.\
Removable ear pads in the ear area effectively contribute to noise reduction.\
The standard-equipped, clear CNS-1C visor, which offers a virtually unrestricted field of view, can be changed without tools using its proven quick-release mechanism. The self-adjusting visor mechanism of the SHOEI GT-Air3allows for a gradual, twist-free opening of the visor thanks to its well-contoured notches, including an initial opening position for additional fresh air during hot summer temperatures or to reduce the tendency of the visor to fog up.\
The central opening and locking mechanism, as well as the raised ventilation controls, are easy to operate even when wearing thick gloves.\
The SHOEI GT-Air II's integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun visor is infinitely adjustable. It covers the usable field of view almost completely and can be easily replaced—without tools—with an optional yellow-tinted visor that enhances contrast. This additional visor ensures optimal visibility for a wide range of uses and weather conditions.\
Cutouts in the ear area and pre-installed cable guides allow for quick and easy installation of the SENA® SRL3 Mesh communication system—available in the SHOEI accessory lineup—into the SHOEI COMLINK interface of the GT-Air3. \ - VENTILATION \
