A 6-layer composite of fiberglass, organic fibers, and high-performance fiber materials forms the basis of the SHOEI X-SPR Pro's AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) outer shell. Combined with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements with varying absorption capacities, this outer shell offers optimal impact protection while maintaining a very low overall weight for a helmet homologated according to the new ECE-R 22.06 standard.
Its FIM homologation makes the SHOEI X-SPR Pro ready for racing use.
The chin strap with a double-D buckle is easily adjustable and holds the helmet securely in place.
The EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) makes it easy to remove the cheek pads in an emergency, allowing for gentle helmet removal. - Comfort
With 4 different outer shell sizes (XS-S | M | L | XL-XXL), the SHOEI X-SPR Pro offers the perfect balance of helmet shell size and weight to the wearer's head size in all available helmet sizesthe perfect balance between helmet shell size and weight relative to the wearer's head size.Its modular liner with integrated pockets can be easily and precisely adjusted to individual head shapes and needs using insertable padding pads, ensuring the ultimate fit, maximum stability, and reliable protection.
The newly designed cheek pads, with their cushion cores manufactured using a sophisticated 3D-cut process, contribute significantly to the stable fit of the X-SPR PRO, even at speeds exceeding 350 km/h, and reduce lift by 3% compared to the previous model.
The adjustable cheek pad mounting allows for changing the helmet's seating angle on the head, thereby expanding the vertical field of view during an extremely forward-leaning, sporty riding position.
The contoured head pad—designed for maximum ventilation—along with the cheek pads and the chin strap pad, all featuring quick-drying, skin-friendly cover material, are fully removable and washable. - Ventilation
Ventilation inlets positioned for maximum exposure—optimally aligned for a heavily forward-leaning and crouched riding position on a racing motorcycle—underscore the X-SPR Pro's uncompromising focus on ventilation as well. A total of 7 fresh-air inlets and 6 exhaust vents are interconnected via an extensively branched ventilation system, ensuring an even more intensive and efficientexchange of fresh and stale air compared to the previous model. To enhance comfort during high summer temperatures or long-distance races, the performance of the cheek pad ventilation has been significantly improved by nearly doubling the number of ventilation openings on the inside of the helmet. - Hydration System
The inner lining of the chin area of the X-SPR Pro is designed to accommodate a hydration system. Regular fluid intake via the hydration system helps riders maintain concentration over an extended period, even in high summer temperatures or during long-distance races.
