- Safety
Its AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) outer shell, combined with a polystyrene core system composed of multiple elements with varying absorption capacities, provides optimal impact protection. - The CWR-F2 visor, newly developed for the SHOEI NXR2 with a two-dimensional design, provides distortion-free and very natural vision. Reinforcements along the upper and lower edges of the visor increase torsional rigidity, while a locking mechanism—now centered—prevents the visor from opening unintentionally. Thanks to an improved mechanism based on the previous model, the visor can be changed and adjusted quickly and without tools.
- The enlarged, anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lens included with the helmet—thanks to its mounting points set far back—allows for an unobstructed view across a large portion of the usable field of vision, even under difficult weather conditions.
- The chin strap with a double-D buckle is easily adjustable and keeps the helmet securely in place. In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed thanks to the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) for gentle helmet removal.
- Comfort
Five different outer shell sizes (XXS-S | M | L | XL-XXL | XXXL) make the NXR2 a compact, lightweight sports helmet with a wide range of sizes. Its light weight relieves strain on the neck muscles, thereby reducing fatigue—whether during high-performance riding on the racetrack or on long tours. - Ventilation
The SHOEI NXR2's 6 air intakes and 4 exhaust vents are connected via a branched ventilation system inside the helmet shell and noticeably reduce the interior temperature and humidity in the helmet. They ensure a constant supply of fresh air to the rider without increasing noise levels. The result is a comfortable interior climate for a focused and fatigue-free ride, whether riding sportily on the racetrack or on motorcycle tours in warm countries. - Accessories
Visors for the SHOEI NXR2 are available in a wide variety of tints and mirror finishes, all of which comply with ECE homologation guidelines. The helmet comes standard with a clear CWR-F2 visor. Anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO inserts can be fitted into all visors of this type; one is included with the helmet. - The SHOEI accessory line includes cheek pads and head pads in various sizes and thicknesses to replace the original pads or to customize the helmet. Also included are a chin strap pad, a Breath Guard, and a Chin Curtain.
