With the NEOTEC3, SHOEI continues its line of successful flip-up helmet models featuring “TEC” in their names. Whether in everyday city traffic, on evening rides through winding roads, or on extended motorcycle tours with like-minded riders—the NEOTEC3 impresses with outstanding features for all purposes. For example, its large integrated QSV-2 sun visor offers excellent glare protection even when the sun is low in the sky. Certified to the current ECE-R 22.06 standard, the NEOTEC3 is also suitable for use with the chin flap open at appropriate speeds thanks to its P/J homologation. When the helmet is fully closed, an integrated, extensively branched ventilation system ensures a supply of fresh air and cooling. The revolutionary SHOEI COMLINK interface allows for seamless integration of SENA's SRL3 MESH communication system. Smooth exterior surfaces and transitions keep noise levels low for the rider. The micro-ratchet buckle on the comfortably narrow chin strap makes it easy to put on and take off this incomparably high-quality flip-up helmet model from SHOEI. - SAFETY
The outer shell of the SHOEI NEOTEC3, made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) material, combined with a polystyrene core system composed of multiple elements with varying absorption capacities, provides optimal impact protection that meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 safety standard. The SHOEI NEOTEC3 meets the requirements of this safety standard for both full-face and open-face helmets. A second, stable locking position allows the helmet to be worn not only with the chin bar closed—as recommended—but also with the chin bar open and locked in place.The clear CNS-3C visor, which comes standard, provides a virtually unrestricted horizontal and vertical field of view. The anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO insert included with the helmet ensures a clear view even in adverse weather conditions.The pleasantly narrow chin strap with a micro-ratchet buckle is easy to use and keeps the helmet securely in place. A stainless steel locking mechanism secures the chin section safely and reliably in the closed position. - COMFORT
Three different outer shell sizes (XS-M, L, XL–XXL) allow for a wide range of sizes for the SHOEI NEOTEC3 while ensuring an optimal ratio between helmet size and rider height. The helmet's good balance reduces strain on the neck muscles and prevents fatigue, whether during inner-city commutes or on extended tours or long motorcycle trips. The three-dimensionally molded head liner, the pre-shaped cheek pads with Noise Isolator, and the chin strap pad are fully removable and washable. Head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for individual helmet adjustment. A pad that slides into the top of the helmet allows for vertical adjustment of the helmet's fit. Cheek pads extended all the way to the back of the head, with a voluminous underside, together with the removable ear pads, effectively contribute to noise insulation. The standard CNS-3C visor prevents drafts and rainwater from entering thanks to its distinctive upper edge, which is angled toward the helmet shell. It can be opened without twisting and closed securely using the centrally positioned locking mechanism. For additional fresh air while riding, the visor mechanism allows the visor to be opened to a narrow slit. Changing the visor is tool-free thanks to the proven, self-adjusting quick-change mechanism. The SHOEI NEOTEC3's integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun visor extends continuously and covers the usable field of view almost completely, even downward. It can be easily replaced without tools using an optional yellow
