- Day 1: Swiss boarding point > (Colmar) > Breisach
- Travel to Colmar. Guided walk through the Alsatian jewel.

Architectural heritage spanning 6 centuries: Colmar in Alsace offers you a condensed version of a thousand years of European history! The colourful townscape is made up of cobbled streets, magnificent Renaissance townhouses and remarkably well-preserved medieval half-timbered houses. The River Lauch creates a flowing transition between past and present, bringing life to the restaurants and cafés along its banks. It flows through the heart of the town and makes the Krutenau district, known in French as «Petite Venise», a particularly photogenic place. As a result, the Quai de la Poissonnerie is perhaps the most photographed spot in Colmar. Equally picturesque is the Gothic Saint Martin's Church dating from the 13th century on Place de la Cathédrale. Colmar's Old Town is considered one of the most beautiful in all of France. To preserve its cultural and historical heritage, the entire historic centre is protected as a historic monument. - Afterwards, you continue to the port of Breisach, where the Excellence Crown departs at 4.30pm. The Excellence crew welcomes you with a welcome aperitif. You will be dining with a view of the river. A delicious Excellence-style menu is prepared for you. Whatever you need during the journey – one word is enough.
- Day 2: Plittersdorf > (Baden-Baden)
- Guided walk through the elegant spa district of the sophisticated spa town of Baden-Baden. In the afternoon, visit the Frieder Burda Museum with outstanding modern art or enjoy a hike through the Black Forest vineyards with panoramic views and a wine tasting.

- Guided walk with a visit to the Kleinmarkthalle. For journeys from 23.07.2026 to 27.10.2026: visit the 48-million-year-old fossil site – the UNESCO World Heritage Site Messel Pit. Alternatively: visit the renowned Schirn Kunsthalle in the Old Town or join an Urban Art Tour in eastern Frankfurt with graffiti artist Fuego Fatal. In the afternoon, the Excellence Crown sets sail. You have time to read, relax and simply do nothing. In other words: time to enjoy the luxury of slowing down.

- In the morning, you arrive in Breisach. Return journey via Freiburg with a guided walk.

Schlossberg, Schwabentor and views of the Black Forest. The sun-drenched university city of Freiburg has no shortage of attractions and charms visitors with its abundant greenery. The hike to the nearby local mountain, Schauinsland, rising to 1,284 metres, is always inviting. Equally appealing is a stroll through the rebuilt medieval Old Town. Follow the little «Bächle» – once used to water horses and fight fires, today a welcome way to cool your feet on warm days – and visit Münsterplatz. Always bustling with activity, it is dominated by the 116-metre-high Gothic Freiburg Minster with its magnificent stained-glass windows. Historisches Kaufhaus, Martinstor, Augustinerplatz, Inselgasse and Gerberau: the cobbled lanes and charming streets of the historic Old Town will quickly win you over. Have you already spotted the cosy street cafés? After the guided walk, you will still have some free time in Freiburg and the opportunity to experience the city's youthful, green spirit among its students – more than 30,000 in a city of 230,000 inhabitants – and cyclists.
