  Journey to Amsterdam, where the Excellence Pearl stays overnight.

  • Atmospheric canal cruise: Amsterdam from the water. A visit to the Dutch riding school takes you into the world of elegant equestrian art and Amsterdam's oldest riding centre.

• Day 3: Amsterdam > Kampen
  • During the guided walk through the former fishing village of Urk, maritime charm unfolds – with a culinary finale featuring tender sole fillet. Tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Schokland. You learn why the region is considered the symbol of the Dutch struggle against water.

• Day 4: Kampen > Lemmer > Groningen
  Relaxing cruise across the Frisian lake district from Groningen to Lemmer. Along the small canals, the shores feel within reach. From the deck of the Excellence Pearl, you can see the Wouda pumping station.

  • During the Street Art tour, you discover Groningen's creative side – from colourful murals to hidden artworks. In the afternoon, you have the opportunity to visit the star-shaped fortress town of Bourtange.

  • By ferry from Harlingen across the IJsselmeer to Terschelling. In the morning, exciting insights into the bunker museum. Around midday, extensive beach excursion in a coastal vehicle. In the afternoon, guided mudflat hike: pure nature in the endless Wadden Sea.

Ship
The Excellence Pearl impresses with its bright, elegant interior in white, mother-of-pearl and pastel shades – a little pearl on special waterways. On board, you will find a stylish restaurant, the cosy River Lounge with bar and an inviting foyer with reception. On the sun deck, loungers, seating areas and shade sails invite you to relax. Amenities include free WiFi, luggage service, an online newspaper kiosk, laundry service, an audio system for shore excursions and drinking water available around the clock. The day begins with a small early bird breakfast from 6am., followed by the regular breakfast buffet from 7.30 to 9.30am. Main meals are served in the Excellence Restaurant, where exquisite menus and buffets are accompanied by fine wines. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available on request. The current menus are on display in the foyer. In the afternoon, fine pâtisseries and snacks are served with coffee and tea in the lounge – an all-round enjoyable experience.
