The estate

• Situated in the north of the Médoc, on the hillside of Saint-Estèphe, Château Cos d'Estournel stands majestically. Resembling a veritable Maharajah's palace, the château and its pagodas surprise and captivate the eye. In 1791, Louis-Gaspard d'Estournel inherited hectares of vineyards and had the estate built. An adventurer who had travelled the world, his taste for the exotic and the Orient gave Château Cos d'Estournel its architecture, which is so unique in the Médoc. Owned by Michel Reybier since 2000, Château Cos d'Estournel continues to shine within the Saint-Estèphe appellation and has joined the ranks of the world's greatest wines, distinguishing itself through its unique style, where a passion for beauty and excellence is a constant pursuit.

The wine

• As Cos d'Estournel's second wine and an essential Saint-Estèphe wine, the famous Pagodes de Cos retains its own personality and youthful vigour, whilst embodying the rigour and high standards characteristic of a great wine.

Blend

• 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23.5% Merlot and 1.5% Cabernet Franc.
