Due Lune

Description

  • A bright, luminous ruby colour. On the nose, an explosion of red fruit, red flower and spice aromas. On the palate, full-bodied, supple and balanced, with lingering red fruit flavours. The tannins are well integrated, with natural residual sugar and lovely freshness. A Sicilian wine that is both sweet and powerful, perfectly illustrating the harmony of the two indigenous grape varieties, Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola.

The winery

  • The magic of the agricultural region of Sambuca, Sicily, is reflected in the wines of Cantine Cellaro. The vineyards stretch from Lake Arancio to the hillsides, at altitudes of 300 to 600 metres. The excellent microclimate and fertile soils provide ideal conditions for the indigenous Grillo, Nero d'Avola and Nerello Mascalese grape varieties, as well as international varieties such as Merlot and Syrah. The renowned oenologist Filippo Baccalaro thus has an exceptional terroir at his disposal to produce the unique and distinctive wines of Cantine Cellaro.
