- Aroma & taste: Château La Croix de Bourseau is made almost exclusively from Merlot. Ripe notes of wild berries and strawberries on the nose, accompanied by a hint of café au lait and dark chocolate. The palate is blue to black berry with a fine roasted aroma, velvety and again pleasantly sweet with ripe and interesting tannins and ends wonderfully aromatic with lots of black berries.
