- An incredibly harmonious garnet-red wine, with a powerful bouquet reminiscent of strawberry jam, fig, coffee, licorice and pepper. Smooth and full-bodied on the palate, it also has a long, lingering finish.

- Puglia, in southern Italy, is one of the country's most productive wine-growing regions. Puglia stretches for 400 kilometers, from the spur near Foggia to the tip of the heel behind Lecce. Most of southern Italy's grape varieties are grown here, 80% of them red. The Mediterranean climate and iron-oxide-coated limestone subsoils create perfect conditions for viticulture. Very hot summers create ideal conditions for grape ripening, producing very dark, earthy, full-bodied wines. Unlike other southern regions, there are hardly any mountains here, the landscape consisting mainly of high plateaus and plains. A wine-growing region with enormous potential - the possibilities of the indigenous grape varieties are by no means exhausted. Puglia already offers wines of the highest quality, intensity and fullness, with the best qualities coming from the Salento peninsula.
