    Features

    The estate

Ruinart, the first Champagne House founded in 1729, is a benchmark that cannot be ignored. The historic Ruinart Champagne House owes its origins to the visionary and pioneering monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. Located in the heart of Reims, Ruinart watches over a treasure trove. Unique, monuments of history and architectural feats, the Ruinart chalk pits have been classified as a historic site since 1931 and have been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since July 2015. Nearly 40 metres underground, in the cool darkness of the cathedral-like cellars, the precious bottles wait to be brought to light. Elegance, style and timelessness define the DNA of the Ruinart Champagne House, one of France's best-loved brands, embodying the excellence of the French art of living the world over.

    The vineyard

An exceptional cuvee, Ruinart Rosé is made from the prestigious Champagne terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne.

    The wine

Ruinart broke new ground in the 18th century with the creation of Ruinart Rosé champagne, renowned for its great delicacy and as the first cuvée of its kind.

    Blend

This blend harmoniously combines the freshness of Chardonnay with the roundness and character of Pinot Noir, and is topped up with 20 to 25% reserve wines from the previous two years.

    Tasting

    Colour

Pomegranate-coloured with orange highlights, Ruinart Rosé champagne has lively, very light bubbles and an extremely persistent cordon.

    Nose

The nose captivates with its combination of subtlety and freshness, first developing aromas of exotic fruits and small red berries, before revealing delicate notes of roses and pomegranates that complete its complexity and sublime intensity.

    Palate

The palate reveals a frank attack, offering flavours of crisp red fruit and formidable balance. This Rosé Champagne is greedy and fresh, before an elegant, lively finish with hints of menthol and citrus fruit.
