- Vinification: Only the best, fully ripe and perfectly healthy grapes are harvested by hand. The slightly dried and cool grapes are destemmed and fermented at a controlled temperature of 12°C in steel tanks. Maturation in steel tanks and large oak barrels lasts around nine months. The wine is then aged for a further nine months in the bottle to achieve the best balance between fruity, varietal and spicy notes.
- Culinary recommendation: A full-bodied and elegant wine whose characteristics are best appreciated with red meat, roasts and game dishes.
- Aroma & taste: A full-bodied and elegant wine! Aromas of ripe cherries, stewed plums and rosehip jam, underpinned with delicately spicy notes of dried kitchen herbs and some liquorice. Enormously dense fruit in the mouth, finely supported by elegant tannins, very balanced, broad and round flowing into the lingering finish.
