- Vinification: 10 days of alcoholic fermentation with numerous stirring of the skins, followed by an extended maceration period and malolactic fermentation. Refinement takes place partly in barriques and partly in large wooden barrels and lasts around 18 months. Finally, the wine matures for a further 6 months in the bottle.
- Culinary recommendation: A particularly dense, soft and elegant wine, excellent with all meat dishes and cheese.
- Aroma & taste: Ruby red in color. Elegantly spicy and complex bouquet, reminiscent of blueberries, raspberries, cocoa and vanilla. Despite the good tannin content, the Masetto Nero is full and particularly harmonious on the palate. Long-lasting finish.
