- Vinification: Hand-picking and separate fermentation of the two varieties as well as ageing in barriques (12 months) takes place separately. The cuvée is made at the end of the ageing process and after bottling the wine is left in the bottle for around 6 months before being released for sale.
- Culinary recommendation: Anything from the grill, including seafood, goes very well with this wine. Hearty pasta variations or risotto. Mature cheese from cows and goats. Also wonderful after a meal.
- Aroma & taste: The Due Lune impresses with its berry bouquet, its full body, its creaminess, its soft tannins combined with the skillful use of French barriques and a long finish. A Rubens with very little sweet reserve. This flatters the palate wonderfully and the Due Lune is also a bestseller in our range. We are sure that you will like it as much as we do.
