- Vinification: Careful selection of the grapes is followed by maceration for 10-12 days at controlled temperatures in Horizon steel and wooden vats. The wine matures for 2 years, 50% of which in French oak barrels (from 60 - 90 hl) and 50% in French oak barriques (3.5 hl). Strict controls are carried out during the ageing process until the wine matures in the bottle for a further 8-12 months.
- Culinary recommendation: Perfect with lamb, game and beef.
- Aroma & flavor: Full-bodied and well-structured with aromas of dark berries, cherry, some mint and earthy notes. Elegant and full-bodied on the palate with strong but well-integrated tannins.
