- Vinification: The Barbera grapes from the Uccellone vineyard are harvested by hand and processed immediately. The temperature-controlled maceration on the skins lasts 20 days. The wine is then transferred to oak barrels, where it matures for 12 months before being aged for a further 12 months in the bottle.
- Culinary recommendation: With strong, dark meat dishes of beef, lamb, venison, also with mushroom dishes and truffles.
- Aroma & taste: Beguiling nose with notes of precious wood, fully ripe wild berries and a hint of peppermint. Full-bodied on the palate with silky tannins and good melting, dark cherries, noble barrique aromas and a beguilingly nuanced variety of flavors. Long and very harmonious finish, despite its youthfulness.
