A wonderful accompaniment to braised dishes of all kinds - whether lamb gigot, beef shoulder, roast pork or ossobuco. Excellent with mature hard cheeses - from Parmigiano Reggiano and Sbrinz to Pecorino or older Alpine cheeses.
- Aroma & flavor: Spicy, fragrant start with aromas of cassis, black cherries and ripe stone fruit. Hints of roasted coffee and oak. Full-bodied structure on the palate with a long finish. Beautiful finesse, complex and multi-layered.
