- Aroma and taste: Sweet and smoky on the nose. On the palate with peppery-spicy notes, smoke and lots of sweet agave. Long and aromatic finish.
- What you need to know: The MG distillery was founded in Vilanova, a small fishing village near Barcelona, back in 1835 and is now run by the fifth generation of the Giro family. In 1940, the distillery launched MG Gin, which is still one of the best-selling gins in Spain today. The Gin Mare followed in 2007.
