Description
- Type:
- Vinification: The Moscato d'Asti is fermented in closed tanks. It is only coarsely filtered, which leaves more valuable aromatic substances in the wine. Moscato d'Asti should have around 4.5 to 5.5% alcohol by volume and a carbonic acid pressure of around 1.5 bar.
- Culinary recommendation: Issential with dessert. Traditionally, it is served in the countryside with a snack of waffles and focaccia. Denise Marrone says: "Always drink it, whether early in the morning, for lunch, with dinner or as a digestif instead of grappa!"
- Aroma & Taste: Light straw yellow. Fine bubbles, very refreshing with a great balance of sweetness and acidity. Long-lasting with a hint of mint and a typical aroma of nutmeg, elderflower and apricot.
