Description
- Country: Austria
- Region: Carnuntum
- Vinification: 80% in steel tanks, 20% in Burgundian wooden barrels on the lees
- Culinary recommendation: Excellent with the great classics of Viennese cuisine such as boiled beef, fried chicken and Wiener schnitzel, but also very elegant and invigorating with Asian dishes.
- Aroma & flavor: The nose presents fresh meadow, a hint of peach, but exotic fruits such as green banana and grapefruit are also present. The partial ageing in barriques reveals slight nuances of brioche, a harmonious interplay between acidity, minerality and alcohol content. A medium to long finish with an aftertaste of Golden Delicious apples paired with a light peppery spiciness.
