Description
- Country: Austria
- Region: Carnuntum
- Vinification: Göttlesbrunn, with its gently rolling hills and wooded landscape, stands for a wide variety of soils and microclimates. Especially in the cooler vineyards close to the forest, with their limestone-rich soils, the Burgundy varieties produce wines of crystalline structure and high complexity. Spontaneous fermentation in large French oak barrels at 20-25°C, after which the wine is matured on the lees for a further 12 months in large wooden barrels.
- Culinary recommendation: Delicious with fish - from grilled gilthead bream and trout to steamed zander or a fine monkfish fillet.
- Aroma & flavor: The nose reveals floral notes of white flowers, spicy alpine herbs and ripe yellow fruit. On the palate, the Göttlesbrunn has an animating, juicy tension with a great drinking flow. Mineral, long-lasting on the finish.
