- The origins of the Depaz white, VO, VSOP and XO rum set
- Mount Pelée in Martinique is the historic birthplace of Depaz, founded in 1651 by the island's first governor. These fertile lands, with a terroir that ensures the harvest of sugar cane that is particularly rich in sugar, are also the danger lurking over the estate.
- In May 1902, the Montagne volcano erupted, destroying the entire village and the distillery. Victor Depaz, who was studying in France at the time, was the only survivor of the family. Some time after the disaster, he returned to the site and decided to continue the work of his ancestors.
- Some fifteen years later, it was once again possible to taste rum from the mountain, thanks to a brand new distillery nestling in a green setting. Since its rebirth, the Depaz distillery has become a historic ambassador for Martinique's award-winning rum.

- The Depaz white rum, awarded in 2020, displays a complex fruity and floral profile that transforms tasting into an enchanting experience based around sugar cane.
- Depaz Plantation aged rum seduces the palate with its fully developed character in a balloon glass, warmed in the palm of the hand. Aged for at least 3 years in oak casks, it is marked by fine notes of vanilla, accompanied by candied fruit and prune, coconut, chocolate and hints of coffee.
- Depaz Réserve Spéciale VSOP is a blend of rums aged for a minimum of 7 years in small oak casks, which give it a soft, memorable oakiness. Aromas of prunes embellish an already well-rounded palate, with a long finish.
- Finally, the last mignonette contains Depaz Grande Réserve XO rum, a well-balanced blend of rums aged between 8 and 10 years, with a lovely complexity on the palate. The finesse of the vanilla, sublimated by a naturally sweet woodiness, makes this spirit one of Depaz's most elegant and flavoursome references.
