Description
- Country: Spain
- Region: Toro
- Vinification: The grapes come from 21 different plots of over 60-year-old bush vines. Telmo Rodriguez has been working with the same long-established winegrowing families since 1998. Fermentation takes place in wooden and stainless steel tanks with a volume of up to 6,000 liters. Subsequently, 80% of the wine matures for 14 months in 1500 liter foudres and 20% in French barriques.
- Culinary recommendation: Wonderful with beef - from grilled steaks to stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roasts from the oven. An excellent accompaniment to pasta dishes - whether tagliatelle al ragù, spaghetti al limone or other creations.
- Aroma & flavor: Impenetrable ruby red in the glass. Currants, black cherries and cassis on the nose. Compact on the palate, with lots of concentrated fruit. A supple texture and balanced acidity, perfectly integrated tannins and a full, fruity finish.
