  • Vinification: The approximately 40-year-old Garnacha vines for Las Lombas are harvested at the end of October. Vinification is carried out by cold pre-pressing in 25kg crates at 6°C for 5 days. This is followed by fermentation for seven days at 28°C, followed by a secondary fermentation maceration of 25 days to maximize the extraction of color and aromas. Las Lombas then matures for 6 months in 225-litre barrels to develop additional complexity and texture.
  • Culinary recommendation: Pairs excellently with Mediterranean dishes of all kinds - from seafood specialties and pasta to tapas lamb stews, intense grilled dishes, vegetables, black olives and much more.
  • Aroma & taste: Las Lomas presents itself in the glass with a bright violet-red color that reflects its youth and freshness. On the nose, the wine develops a bouquet of floral notes, accompanied by ripe red fruit aromas and a subtle minerality. Spicy nuances round off the aroma profile. On the palate, Las Lombas has great volume and good concentration. The rich aromas of red fruits continue and are accompanied by an elegant spiciness. The finish is long-lasting and refined.
