- Vinification: The grapes for the CM Matarromera come from the famous wine-growing community of San Vicente de la Sonsierra at the foot of the Sierra Cantraba. Harvested with great meticulousness and carefully selected so that only the best grapes reach the cellar.
- Culinary recommendation: Perfect accompaniment to intense roasted flavors of grilled dishes - whether steaks, vegetables, BBQ pieces or poultry. Excellent with mature hard cheeses - from Parmigiano Reggiano and Sbrinz to Pecorino or older Alpine cheeses.
- Aroma & flavor: On the nose, the CM has very intense aromas of fresh red fruits such as strawberries, cherries and blackberries. There are also complex floral aromas of thyme and lavender. On the palate, it has a rich, full-bodied structure with delicate acidity and a long-lasting, fruity finish.
