- Vinification: The grapes are selected twice, both on the vines and in the cellar. Ageing takes place over 18 months in French and American oak, allowing the wine to develop a harmonious balance between the characteristic aromas of the two types of wood. Finally, the wine matures for two years in the bottle to further refine its aromas and achieve optimum drinking maturity.
- Culinary recommendation: Wonderful with beef - from steaks and stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roasts from the oven. A wonderful accompaniment to braised dishes of all kinds - whether lamb gigot, beef shoulder, roast pork or ossobuco.
- Aroma & taste: The Zinio Reserva presents itself in the glass with a dark cherry color. Its complexity is revealed on the nose. Ripe fruit mingles with spicy notes. Delicate hints of liquorice, cedar wood paired with notes of cocoa and toffee lend the wine harmony and elegance. The palate is caressed with a silky and velvety texture and the tannins are fine-grained and well integrated. The finish is persistent and lingers with memories of mocha and tobacco.
