Description
- Country: France
- Region: Bordeaux
- Vinification: Matured in barriques
- Culinary recommendation: Perfect accompaniment to intense roasted aromas of grilled dishes - whether steaks, vegetables, BBQ pieces, poultry or fish. Equally suitable with creamy risotto in all its facets - whether with saffron, porcini mushrooms, pumpkin or on its own.
- Aroma & flavor: Blackcurrants, black berries and plums with earth and spices as well as roasted herbs and lots of oak on the nose. The big, full-bodied palate has some promising notes of dark berries, plums and cherries. The tannins are still noticeable but juicy and still need some time. As always, a great St-Estèphe.
