Description
- Country: France
- Region: Burgundy
- Vinification: After careful hand-picking, the grapes undergo cold maceration before fermentation begins. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 10 to 15 days before the mash is pressed and the young wine is transferred to barriques. Maturation in the barrique barrels lasts 16 to 20 months.
- Culinary recommendation: Wonderful with beef - from steaks to stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roasts from the oven.
- Aroma & flavor: The nose reveals complex aromas of red berries, some cherry and fine roasted aromas. The palate is characterized by a soft, velvety attack, an elegant structure and wonderfully harmonious, fine-grained tannins.
